A Four Season Place!!!
A place that is worth visiting is a state four hours car drive north of NY City. The state I’m referring to is Massachusetts. It is a state that combines history and sight-seeing with shopping and fun!
About fun I don’t have much to say since, when I was there, I was having fun by sight-seeing! However, I know that there are a lot of restaurants, bars, clubs, cinemas and theaters. As for the restaurants, if you decide to travel to Massachusetts, you should visit the Hay Market square where the building has become a multinational restaurant Mall! You‘ll find it in the center of Boston.
Now, let’s talk about my favorite activity when I visit a place: sight – seeing!! Massachusetts is the place where the first English immigrants (Pilgrims) arrived in (and it’s the first state).The place is Plymouth Plantation. You must go there! You will have the opportunity to see a copy of Mayflower – the ship that brought the Pilgrims there – how their first village looked like, the way they lived, dressed, talked as well as a small Indian village! It’s a great experience that you are going to remember!
Another place that you should visit is the Nantucket Island. Nantucket is famous in the States for its lobsters and chocolate production! You will also find there many Art galleries and antique shops. Generally, Nantucket is a traditional and pictures island!
Back to Boston, do not forget to lose yourself walking in the enormous Malls and shop in their huge stores! You won’t realize how fast time passes!
You can visit Massachusetts any time of the year. However, I would suggest that you go there at Christmas to enjoy the snow and see Boston decorated! Believe me, it’s beautiful but because of lack of time, I only wrote few of all the things you can see!
